Parts on Paper online journalling group: coloured figures around a table with a glowing lantern

Parts on Paper

Online journalling groups for getting to know the different parts of ourselves.

What it is

Parts on Paper is a journalling community using Internal Family Systems (IFS) principles: meeting ourselves on paper and bringing all of ourselves.

Each year we do Sankofa, a looking back. We have been doing this for five years. During the year we work with themes like belonging, dreaming, thresholds and the inner critic.

How it works

Each group meets online for a few sessions, with guided journalling in between. No writing experience is needed, only a willingness to be curious.

What people say

“The best way to describe this would be that at first they were metal hammers, but now they’re wooden hammers.”

— Natasha

“An excellent course, packed with material and insights—and, above all, absolutely transformative for me. I came to understand one of my most significant inner critics and actually made friends with him—I really didn’t expect that.”

— Corrine

“Ryan and Leeane create such a safe and welcoming healing space. Even online, it feels as if we are sitting right there with them in their cosy living room. In the journalling group I was guided to understand myself better by the gentle introspective prompts, I was encouraged by the kind and insightful reflections, and I was held and inspired by raw and authentic sharing. For the first time, journalling feels like a valuable practice for me.”

— Fiona

Current group: The Simple No

28 October to 11 November 2026. Three consecutive Wednesdays, online, 90 minutes. Exploring the power of a clearer, stronger no.
